  • Where can I find information about the energy markets ?
    In 2003, the European Commission created a new institution, the ERGEG (European Regulators Group for Electricity and Gas), which groups together the national regulatory authorities in the gas and electricity fields. This consultative group is specifically involved in guaranteeing the application of directives relating to gas and electricity in all member states. The principal actors (producers, transporters, distributors and suppliers) of the market participate in the work undertaken by ERGEG.
  • Where can I find information on natural gas and electricity transmission in Europe ?

    GIE (Gas Infrastructure Europe) is an independent association representing 57 companies originating from 27 countries whose activities relate to gas infrastructures in Europe. GTE (Gas Transport Europe) is the authority which, within the GIE, represents the gas transport companies operating within Europe.
